Founder
In 1987, after completing his studies in chemical (process) engineering, Remco Schade started his career as a product developer. He began developing OTC medication and went on to work at the product development department at Unilever’s chemical division Unichema. Following this, he acted as the product development and quality control manager for various well-known cosmetics and health private label manufacturers.
The Company
In 2008, Remco Schade started CosTec.
Its mission to exclusively provide practice-related company support proved successful; CosTec currently effectively supports a worldwide circle of customers—from one-person start-ups to multinationals. Its independent position and extensive network of experts combine a wide range of disciplines. At CosTec, our motto is: Think along with every customer and deliver optimal service.
CosTec joined the Dutch Cosmetics Association (Nederlandse Cosmetica Vereniging)
in 2009 and since then has been an active contributor, regularly providing information at its seminars.

CosTec operates as an independent product developer to ensure its customers receive optimized service. Its service includes measuring devices for testing the new product and its application. New products are provided to our clients including a Product information file, safety assessment and EU product notification.
Effective marketing support and advice on packaging can be taken for granted.
We will also assist in the manufacturing process and during the start-up. Or we source the right manufacturer for your newly developed product.
