This compact, easy-to-use vane anemometer provides both velocity (flow) and volume flow (cfm). A fixed, 100 mm vane takes flow measurements of large areas like vents, returns, registers, filters, and exhausts. Flow direction, such as inlet suction or exhaust pressure, is shown on the display. Volume flow measurements are simple—just enter the duct dimensions, either circular or rectangular, and the meter automatically calculates the volume flow (cfm) for you. This anemometer features both "timed mean" (mean value calculated over a user-specified time) and "multipoint mean" (mean value calculated over user-entered point measurements) to help track variable flows and cyclical events. Min. and max. values are displayed, plus a Hold function lets you freeze the display for data recording and documentation.
