The 7151 is a comprehensive kit for dimensional calibration applications including verniers, calipers, micrometers, and depth gauges. The kit contains a 47 piece grade 1 metric gauge block set, with each gauge made of hardened alloy steel with a high quality surface finish. The set is housed in a fitted wooden case. A compact surface plate (305 x 230 x 50mm) is included for precision depth measurements.
For internal measurements a 300mm gauge block holder and two cylindrical jaws is provided. Additionally 4 optical flats are supplied, for examining the flatness and parallelism of the measuring faces on external micrometers. Also supplied are a pair of cotton gloves, oil, wipes and leather chamois.
The kit is supplied in two compact carry cases for storage and transport. A UKAS (ISO 17025) calibration certificate is supplied for the gauge block set, optical flats and surface plate.
