Teleprotection equipment is one of the most important components in power systems protection, enabling fast and selective isolation of defective HV lines. The DZ8 teleprotection equipment is a basic building block of command type teleprotection system.

- Programmable command transmission characteristics permit adaptation to any protection scheme
- Optimum Digital Signal Processing algorithms for secure and reliable operation via PLC channels with the highest possible transmission rate
- Signal boosting for full exploitation of the available transmission power for each protective command
- Redundant command input and output, preventing false operation due to single component failure
- Equipment setting and monitoring through built in MMI console or personal computer
- Loop Test - automatic or manual
- Internal real time clock (RTC) with provision for external clock synchronization
